SEASONIQUE® and LoSEASONIQUE®

SEASONIQUE® and LoSEASONIQUE® tablets are indicated for the prevention of pregnancy.

Important Safety Information About SEASONIQUE® and LoSEASONIQUE®

While you get 4 periods a year, you’re more likely to have bleeding or spotting between periods. This can be slight to a flow like a regular period and should decrease over time.

Like other birth control pills, prescription SEASONIQUE® and LoSEASONIQUE® have serious risks including blood clots, stroke and heart attack. Smoking increases these risks, especially if you’re over 35. If you’ve ever had any of these conditions, certain cancers, or if you could be pregnant, you should not take the Pill. The Pill does not protect against HIV or STDs.

SEASONIQUE® and LoSEASONIQUE® Prescribing Information

Plan B One-StepTM

Plan B One-Step™ (levonorgestrel) tablet, 1.5 mg is intended to prevent pregnancy after known or suspected contraceptive failure or unprotected intercourse.

Important Safety Information About Plan B One-StepTM

Plan B One-Step™ isn't effective if you're already pregnant, and it won't terminate an existing pregnancy. Plan B One-Step™ does not protect against HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Side effects may include changes in your period, nausea, lower abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, and dizziness. If your period is more than a week late, you may be pregnant. You should not take Plan B One-Step™ if you are already pregnant. Plan B One-Step™ should not be used as a routine birth control, as it is not as effective. If you have severe abdominal pain, you may have an ectopic pregnancy, and should get immediate medical help.

ParaGard® T 380A (intrauterine copper contraceptive)

Important Safety Information About ParaGard®

ParaGard® T 380A does not protect against HIV or STDs.
You may have heavier or longer periods or spotting between periods, which usually subsides after 2-3 months. Complications may occur from placement. You must not use ParaGard® if you have pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or engage in behavior putting you at high risk for PID, have a history of certain reproductive cancers or infections, have Wilson’s disease, or might be pregnant.

ENJUVIATM

ENJUVIATM is a medicine that contains estrogen hormones. It is prescribed for relief of moderate-to-severe hot flashes and night sweats, and moderate-to-severe vaginal dryness and pain with intercourse, symptoms associated with menopause.

Important Safety Information About ENJUVIATM

Important health information you should know when taking estrogens like ENJUVIATM: Estrogens increase the risk for cancer of the uterus (womb). If you experience persistent or recurring vaginal bleeding while taking estrogens let your doctor know right away, as this could be a warning sign for cancer. Your doctor should check for the cause of any unusual vaginal bleeding after menopause.

Estrogens (alone or in combination with progestins) should not be used to prevent heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, or dementia.

Estrogens (alone or in combination with progestins) may increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots, and breast cancer. Estrogens (alone or in combination with progestins) may increase your risk of dementia, based on a study of women age 65 or older. Because of these risks, estrogens should be used at the lowest dose for the shortest period of time. You and your doctor should talk regularly to determine whether you still need treatment with ENJUVIATM.


Who should not use ENJUVIATM?
Do not use ENJUVIATM if you:
• May be pregnant
• Have had a stroke or heart attack in the past year
• Have unusual vaginal bleeding
• Are allergic to ENJUVIATM or any of its components
• Have a history of certain cancers, blood clots, or liver problems

What are the common side effects with ENJUVIATM?
You may experience headache, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, stomach/abdominal cramps and bloating, nausea and vomiting, or hair loss.
